In this exhibition, the works by Franz Gertsch (exhibition spaces number 1 and 2) meet up with younger artistic positions: Christiane Baumgartner presents her woodcuts in the exhibition spaces number 3 and 4, while Philipp Hennevogl shows linocuts in the cabinet.

In the context of the project "Show up!", a collaboration between the museum and the Carl-von-Weinberg-School in Frankfurt, 18 pupils curated an exhibition with works of the MMK Collection, which is called "boys/girls". It will be on show until August 22, 2010. Hennevogl's work "Der Besuch" (2000) was selected for this special occasion.

The German-French TV channel ARTE broadcast today at 19:00 h. in its news and culture program "ARTE Journal" a small feature about the work of Philipp Hennevogl (min. 23 of the program) and the current exhibtion at gallery Hunchentoot (Berlin).

At the opening of exhibition "Ordnung und Zufall" at the gallery Hunchentoot, Philipp Hennevogl was interviewed by Konstantin Schneider, better known in the German art scene as the "Berliner Kunstkontakter".

The newest and most exciting developments in the field of international prints will be presented through around 200 selected works in the Horst-Janssen Museum, in the municipal museum Oldenburg and the Artothek Oldenburg in the spring of 2010.

Kulturförderpreis 2009 der Stadt Würzburg

Philipp Hennevogl was distinguished on 10 December 2009 with the Würzburg Cultural Sponsorship Award.

The artist has receive the award for visual arts from the hand of mayor George Rosenthal. The ceremonie of the prize took place in the Würzburger city hall.

Focus on Franconia - Schweinfurt Triennale for Contemporary Art

The Schweinfurt Triennale for Contemporary Art in Franconia will take place for the first time in the new Art Hall in 2009. The focal point of this project, which takes place at intervals of three years, is a wide-ranging exhibition with catalogue. An independent jury decides on the participation of the approx. 25 artists and on the awarding of prizes.
